Fei Fei's Songs
I just posted some short songs from Fei. You can find them by clicking the link for 'audio' over on the right. You can also go directly to the page.
The site hosting the audio files is a little confusing, but if you play around you should be able to get the songs to play.
The "Fish Song" is in Chinese. It's about a goldfish swimming around a fish bowl. Fei really likes this one.
Enjoy.

The Name
What does Zi-Jun (梓 雋) mean?
Zi:
This refers to a specific kind of tree. In English it is called Catalpa Ovata or Catalpa Kaempferis. It is more commonly referred to as the Chinese Catalpa. This tree has a deep meaning in Chinese history and art. You can see some pictures of this tree at the following links:

Jun:
The basic Engish meaning is 'smart, eminent, talented.' Julia said it means beautiful, but not a common form of beauty. Perhaps extremely beautiful is an ok translation.
Together zi and jun mean an extremely beautiful and outstanding Chinese Catalpa Tree. To really understand it's significance requires explanation of the role these trees have in Chinese culture. Stay tuned to learn more.
By the way, his English name is now finalized. It's Jackson Samuel Lloyd!

Zi-Jun Update
Jun Jun is doing fine. He is up to about 7 pounds 9 ounces now. He's gaining about 1 ounce/day! We're really going through those diapers.
Julia is also doing well and is enjoying her month of confinement (more on this later).
Fei is enjoying her new baby. Her only complaint is that she doesn't get to hold him all the time.
Videos and Photos have been updated. Check the links to the right for the latest.

Sun Yat-Sen Sculpture
Julia's Dad, Chu Tat Shing ("George"), completed a sculpture of Sun Yat-Sen in 2006. This was unveiled in front of the Hong Kong Sun Yat Sen Museum. A photo of the sculpture is online at wikipedia.
Zi-Jun is born!
Zi-Jun ("Jun Jun") Lloyd is born! He decided to start using his own bed 11 days early by arriving at 12:25pm (HK time) on March 13. He is 7 pounds and 11 ounces and is doing great. Mom is fine and is getting lots of rest.
See his photos and videos.
We still haven't settled on an English name. We thought we had a couple more weeks to decide!
